Join us pm December 7th invite Professor Tony Mayo of the Harvard Business School for a discussion titled “Toward a Racially Just Workforce” . This interactive lecture showcases some of the key findings from the edited volume, Race, Work, and Leadership and the Harvard Business Review Big Idea series: “Toward a Racially Just Workforce” that chronicles the systemic challenges that underrepresented individuals face in ascending in their careers but also showcases the resiliency, strength, and character of these same executives as they navigate an often difficult and unwelcoming terrain.

With our organizational focus on helping Black, African, and African American professionals achieve their career goals, we felt that providing the tools and resources to make it through the interview process was a critical component to supporting that mission.  This workshop is designed to be interactive, candid, and transparent with focus on enhancing or developing key interview skill areas while highlighting the risks while also having a candid discussion about the unique watch outs and challenges that specifically impact our community.  Please come prepared to listen, learn, ask questions, and actively engage in breakout exercises.
